In recognition of its role as a manufacturer of products distributed worldwide, Hirose announced its Basic Environmental Policy in 2001 accepting its corporate responsibility for the protection of the global environment. This commitment to environmental protection was reinforced with the decision taken in 2003 to replace the separate ISO certifications (under ISO14001) acquired for the three domestic Group member companies (Tohoku Hirose Electric, Ichinoseki Hirose Electric and Koriyama Hirose Electric) to a comprehensive company-wide ISO14001 Total Environmental Management System that also includes the Head Office Administration, Sales and Engineering Divisions.

1.To inspect and assess the environmental impacts by our activities such as development, manufacturing, sales and service of our products, make target and implements for the action plan by each site, to promote continuously improvement in accordance with our technology and financial background as much as possible.

2.To comply relative environmental laws and regulation, and general requirement of this company agreement, establish self control standard to be concerned to improvement of the environmental conservation.

3.Our priority managing points of corporate activities is as follows;
  • To design and development environmentally sound products.
  • To separate trash, to reduce industrial waste as scrap metal and plastic, and promotion of recycle and reuse.
  • To control chemical substances and prevention of pollution.
  • To efficient use of raw materials and energy-saving.

4.To educate employee for the environmental conservation and request to our trading corporation for environmental educational campaign and cooperation.
