Hirose established an Engineering Center (currently called Kikuna office) in Yokohama in 1988. The Center has corresponded to the complex needs in the electronics sector by integrating the Engineering, Production Techniques and Advanced Die, and Quality Assurance Department to construct a technology network which interconnects all Divisions across the board.

In 2011, in order to improve this unique development system, we established a new integrated base the “Yokohama Center” in Yokohama. In addition to the technology network we have cultivated over the years, the Sales and Marketing Department which has concentrated on Tokyo will be integrated into the new base. With this integration, we will realize an efficient development and extending business system, and comply with the accelerated speed of the new product development and globalization.
