The ix Industrial™ Field-Assembly Type is designed to provide flexible cabling on-site, especially where cable lengths cannot be predetermined. Featuring a patented ratchet-style clamp mechanism, it enables secure IDC termination and clamping using only standard tools like pliers—no special equipment required. This significantly improves work efficiency in the field and allows easy adjustment of harness length based on equipment specifications.

The connector supports three cable types and features a clamp structure that accommodates a wide range of cable diameters, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications. For convenience, each connector set is compactly packaged in a blister pack for easy transport and handling at installation sites.

While RJ45 field-assembly connectors have long been the market standard, the compact, robust, and high-speed ix Industrial series lacked this capability—until now. The newly developed ix Industrial Field-Wireable Type offers a powerful alternative to RJ45, contributing to device miniaturization and enhanced durability.
