Hirose Electric Europe Appoints New President to Lead European Operations
Amsterdam, North Holland – [01.10.2024] – Hirose Electric Europe B.V. is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Vijverberg as its new President and COO, effective on the 1st of October 2024. With over 12 years of experience within Hirose Electric, Peter, brings a deep understanding of the company's business, values, and growth objectives, making him the ideal leader to guide the company through its next phase of development in Europe.
Peter Vijverberg has held various key positions at Hirose Electric, with a particular focus on the automotive sector across the EMEA region. Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager, overseeing the development and execution of strategic initiatives in a highly competitive market.
His tenure has been marked by notable achievements, including the expansion of Hirose's automotive connectivity solutions and a solid track record in building customer relationships.

A Proven Leader at Hirose Electric
Having joined Hirose Electric in 2012 as Business Development Manager for EMEA, Peter Vijverberg, quickly rose through the ranks due to his leadership and strategic insights. Over the course of six years, he successfully managed multiple high-growth projects across the EMEA region, fostering partnerships and enhancing Hirose’s presence in key European markets.
From 2018 to 2020, Peter served as Deputy Sales Manager Automotive, further refining his expertise in the automotive sector. His role later expanded when he became Sales Manager Automotive for EMEA, before being appointed as Deputy General Manager Automotive EMEA in 2020. In these roles, he led a series of initiatives that strengthened Hirose’s automotive portfolio, positioning the company as a leader in automotive connectivity solutions.
Building on a Strong Foundation
Peter Vijverberg succeeds Bryan Cullis, who has served as President and COO since 2018. Under Bryan Cullis's leadership, Hirose Electric Europe experienced significant growth, particularly in expanding the company's product offerings and increasing its presence in the European market. The company thanks Bryan Cullis for his invaluable contributions and wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
