The following are the terms of the legal agreement between the user and Hirose Electric Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as the “Company”). Accessing, viewing, or using the website operated by the Company (hereafter referred to as the “Company Website”) is recognized as an agreement by the user, having read and understood these Terms of Use, to abide by the Terms of Use and observe the applicable laws. Article 1 Copyrights

The copyrights of the letters, text, photographs, logos, images, drawings, and other works posted on the Company Website are the property of the Company and the creators of those works, and belong to the Company or the copyright holder who has permitted the Company’s use of the work.

Article 9 SSL

In order to improve the level of security of the Company Website, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) cryptographic communication is used in some services.

By using a web browser that supports security functions, personal information such as the real name and address or telephone number etc. entered by the user is automatically encrypted when it is sent and received.

Article 10 Downloads

Not all user manuals and technical documents (hereafter referred to as “User Manuals, etc.”) for products sold by the Company are provided on the Company Website.
The information contained in User Manuals, etc. may not be the latest information, due to changes in laws and regulations etc.
User manuals, etc. are documents provided for customers, with the assumption that they are for people considering the purchase of and existing users of products.
The copyrights for User Manuals, etc. belong to the Company. Duplication of all or part of the content of User Manuals, etc. without obtaining permission from the copyright holder is prohibited.
It is assumed that this service is provided for the convenience of users, and the Company bears no responsibility in the unlikely event that damage occurs as a result of the use of or the inability to use the service.
Depending on the state of the user's computer, network etc., there may be cases where User Manuals, etc. are not downloaded correctly.

Article 11 Applicable Laws

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Article 12 Disputes

The Tokyo District Court shall be the agreed court with exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance for any and all disputes between members and the Company regarding the Terms of Use.

When considering selecting or ordering products, please check the drawings and product specification sheet beforehand.
Regarding connectors used in combination with cables, please be sure to use compatible cables. When considering non-compatible cables, please contact our sales office.
Wiring work using tools other than those designated by the Company is not covered by warranty.
When considering the use of the Company’s products for the following purposes, please be sure to consult our sales office.
Whether such use will be covered by warranty will be considered according to conditions.
(Equipment that requires extremely high reliability, such as on-board automotive equipment, medical equipment, public infrastructures, and aerospace and defense equipment.)

Supplementary Provision

This agreement shall apply from April 1, 2018.
