As a Content Strategist, you will own the content supporting the new product release process, through the creation and curation of campaigns based on research and business requirements. You will oversee developing the corporate digital media to increase the visibility of the company as a technology and thought leader in a joint effort with your colleagues from the sales, marketing, and engineering teams. You will also define and support the digital content strategy for Hirose Electric, USA overall.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the candidate will have experience in inbound marketing, content creation and a strong sales-oriented approach: Building productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively providing and seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback from the teams you are working with.
1. Develop a strong understanding of the products and services, competition, industry and brand positioning goals.
2. Create content based on the business requirements and market insights.
3. Curate the content for specific campaign requirements, knowing segments, personas and the relevant content for specific touch points and context in the customer journey.
4. To be part of strategy design, renewal of the brand positioning, campaign methods and aligning them with the stakeholders.
5. Support measurement of the effectiveness of the campaigns and development of the brand across the sales regions and our distributors pulling the insights to redefine content and methods.
6. Ensure your knowledge of the digital industry and changes within inbound marketing is kept up to date and relevant.
7. Initiate and carry out objective testing of tools, resources and techniques.
8. Cultivate a strong network of internal relationships to identify appropriate resources to execute on strategies by gaining the trust and confidence of the business leaders.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. BS/BA degree in Marketing, Journalism, or Communications.
2. Three years of content experience required, and experience in the electronics industry preferred.
3. Knowledge of connector market, processes and applications preferred.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent project management skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
6. Self-motivated & positive attitude with great energy.
7. Possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) in order to work with both external and internal customers. Able to clearly and concisely communicate across different cultures.
8. Possess good market sense and capable of making decisions.
9. Ability to resolve issues and escalate in a timely fashion.
10. Experience using Microsoft Office products required.
11. Excellent presentation skills including creating PowerPoint presentations.
