Hirose Adds Branch Adapter to DF22 Power Cable Crimp Connectors (Up to 30A Support)

Hirose Electric has released a branch adapter for its DF22 Series crimp connectors, supporting power distribution in industrial equipment. Built on the branching technology developed for Hirose’s signal connectors, the adapter helps standardize power lines across multiple units. It supports labor-saving wiring, reduces cable routing space, and improves reliability through secure crimp connections.

● Power Branch Adapter Reduces Wiring and Improves Work Efficiency
Industrial equipment such as semiconductor manufacturing systems, conveyors, and mounting machines often requires dense internal wiring, creating a need for simplified routing. Conventional branch adapters tend to be bulky or require time-consuming soldering, while branch boards take up considerable space.
To address these challenges, Hirose Electric has mass-produced a branch adapter as a variation of the well-received DF51 Series signal connectors. Applying the branching know-how developed for signal lines, Hirose has now introduced a branch adapter for the DF22 Series power cable crimp connectors. When paired with crimp sockets featuring side locks, this adapter enables power line branching, helping reduce internal wiring complexity.
Standardizing power lines across multiple units within industrial systems helps reduce wiring and lower overall system costs. Replacing traditional branch boards with compact branch adapters contributes significantly to both size and cost reduction. Two types of branch adapters are available to suit different applications, improving installation efficiency and ease of maintenance.
