The DF40T series is an FPC to Board connector ideal for applications requiring high reliability, such as automotive electronic components that are heat resistant to 125°C. It delivers speeds of up to 16 Gbps and is PCI Express 4.0 compliant. The unique terminal structure ensures high contact reliability and retention force, and the use of ribs to absorb impact stress enhances durability.
The FPC to Board connector is equipped with a "Heat resistance, high-speed transmission, and reliability", so it is ideal for use with ADAS, front cameras, rear/side cameras, millimeter wave radar, and LiDAR that are essential for automatic driving.

The receptacle terminal is made of a material resistant to heat, and the stress relaxation characteristics are improved by designing the spring suitable for heat resistance. As a result, the DF40T series can maintain its shape and characteristics even under rapid temperature changes and high temperatures.
Various rigorous tests required for automotive products, including the thermal shock test (+125°C to -55°C for 1,000 cycles) and the high-temperature storage test (125°C, 1,000 hours), have been performed and verified to be satisfactory.
FPC to Board connector capable of 16 Gbps high-speed transmission
With the increasing resolution of cameras and other sensors, connectors are required to have excellent high-speed transmission characteristics. The DF40T series meets cutting-edge needs by providing high-speed transmission of up to 16 Gbps. It also complies with the PCI Express 4.0 standard.
Highly reliable terminal structure (Contact Reliability, High retention force, Rugged)
Terminal structure to ensure effective fitting length to absorb assembled tolerance, to maintain contact reliability, and to keep high retention force by providing groove in contact part of header terminal when retention force is low core number. In addition, the ribs on both sides of the connector fit when engaged to absorb the impact stress and provide a robust product.
