Broadcasting devices and industrial cameras are transitioning to 8K high-definition capability, but the coaxial connectors normally used for these devices carry only one signal. Therefore, dozens of them need to be connected, causing space issues.
The MF11BMT Series optical connector features 24 positions equipped with a built-in standard MT ferrule. Since a single connector offers one-step connection with multiple positions, work hours can be reduced significantly. Its small size and interface space-saving attributes are highly beneficial. It is also IP67-compatible (dustproof and waterproof), so it can be safely used.

To transmit full-spec 8K video signals (approx. 144 Gbps) using coaxial connectors, 128 BNC coaxial connectors are required. This causes many connection-related problems, and a significant amount of space must be secured. Using MF11BMT Series waterproof optical connectors with MT ferrule will greatly reduce man-hours required for instillation and contributes to a more compact device. Position count variations include 8, 12, and 24 positions.
Structure prevents water from seeping into the connector
The MT ferrule is covered, and an additional “water-resistant gasket” is used to prevent water from seeping inside the connector.
Complies with 8K broadcasting device standards
The connector is compliant with all types of standards related to broadcasting device data communication, including ARIB/ITU-R/SMPTE.

Up to now I’ve depended on multiple BNC coaxial connectors to use 8K devices. This required a lot of preparation time, led to frequent connection mistakes, an increase in overall cable weight, and other issues.

[About the AC-4813]
The AC-4813 is a camera control unit for 8K camera systems. U-SDI is used for 8K main line output, enabling connection to various 8K compatible devices with a single cable.
