FX26 Series

Ltd, a world-class manufacturer of innovative connector solutions, has introduced the FX26 series which won the CES 2020 innovation award in Vehicle Intelligence & Transportation category held in Las Vegas, USA and 16th JPCA (Japan Printed Circuit Association) show award. Hirose’s FX26 is a high contact reliable and durable Board-to-Board floating connector with a -40℃ to 140℃ operating temperature.
FX26 series is a 1 mm pitch, low height, space-saving floating connector with ± 0.7 mm range in X and Y directions. The effective mating length is ± 0.75 mm in Z direction. Its unique floating structure solves the problem of contact failure caused by vibration. The FX26 connectors are small, yet easy-to-assemble with outstanding performance in vibration environments; providing multiple possibilities to combine different mating heights.
FX26 series is available in 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 contact positions and various mated height options are available in 15, 18, 20, 23, 25 mm and more are under development.
Furthermore, Hirose’s FX26 series is part of the FunctionMAX product family. FunctionMAX consists of board-to-board connectors designed to meet maximum functionality. The unique contact design and the selection of materials with excellent thermal characteristics make FX26 suitable for 140°C environments. Additionally, it has a two-point contact design to enhance contact reliability.
The FX26 series connectors are ideal solutions for Automotive Drive equipment like PCU, Inverter, Converter, EPS, Motor, Battery control, Motion control, Airbag, ADAS devices and Information equipment like Navi, HUD, IVI, Audio display and many more.
