Q&A about Product Selection
■ For Analog Signal
Q.I am looking for a compact and lightweight connector that outputs analog signals from sensors.
A.The highly shielded LF Series with metal housing is recommended.
There is also HR08D Series with pins for housing (panel) ground connection
■ For Digital Signal
Q.I am looking for a compact and lightweight connector that outputs digital signal from sensors.
A.If you need a transmission speed of several hundred Mbps, HR30 Series is recommended.
If shielding performance is required, LF Series is recommended.

■ Sensors to be Installed Outdoors
Q.I am looking for a connector for a sensor that will be installed outdoors for a long time.
A.Although the housing is made of resin, I recommend HR30 Series which can be used outdoors.
(Sunshine Weather test cleared 2000 hours, usable for approximately 10 years)
The LF Series is also available with bayonet lock and black chrome plated metal.
■ Sensors for Outdoor Use
Q.I am looking for a connector for a portable, outdoor use measuring instrument that can connect to sensors.
A.How about the compact and lightweight HR30 Series with resin housing?

■ Sensors for Use in Heavy-Duty Environments
Q.I am looking for a connector that is easy to remove even if dust and dirt get stuck in the spaces.
A.If a bayonet lock design such as HR34B Series (PCB ground) or HR08D Series (panel ground) is used, it will be easier to remove the connector if you rotate it a little with a general-purpose tool.
Push-pull lock type connectors are not recommended because they cannot be pulled out when dirt gets stuck.
■ Compact and Lightweight Connector
Q.I don't need waterproof performance, but I am looking for a small and lightweight connector.
A.We recommend the HR10 Series (Push-Pull lock type), which is standardly used and has been adopted in a wide variety of applications.
In addition, the multi-pin count, high-density HR25 Series (Screw lock type) is also recommended.
■ Very Lightweight Waterproof Connector
Q.I'm looking for a very lightweight waterproof connector.
A.How about HR30 Series with resin housing?
The mated condition of the plug and receptacle is extremely light.
The 6 position type is a mere 6 grams and the 12 position type is only 9 grams.

HR30 Series is a small, waterproof and low-profile connector that is IP67 and IP68 compliant in mated condition.
While waterproof, the push-pull lock provides good operability.
