2mm Pitch Crimp Type Wire-to-Board Connector: DF51/DF51K Series
In today's industrial equipment market, there's a growing emphasis on manpower-saving and self-actuation technologies, leading to diverse applications like Cooperative Robots, AGVs, AMRs, and Drones. With various internal wiring methods such as PCB mounting, in-line, and branch types, connectors need to offer high reliability to withstand vibration, shock, and environmental factors.
The DF51/DF51K Series provides a solution with its 2mm pitch Crimp type Wire-to-Board connectors, catering to a range of connection needs. These UL/C-UL certified products feature a center lock and side lock for easy handling and a secure connection. They come in various configurations including straight, right angle, DIP, SMT, in-line, branch, single-row, and double-row, with options for gold plating, tin plating, and potting (resin-filled) to safeguard against water, dust, and other contaminants. Additionally, their high contact lance strength ensures that cables remain secure even during wrenching.

The DF51 Series offers a branch adapter variation that allows for current branching, simplifying internal wiring and reducing cable clutter in messy applications.

Enhanced Efficiency with Composite Branch Adapters
Hirose Electric has launched the composite branch adapter for the DF51 Series, which simplifies wiring by enabling branched power and signal connections in a compact form. This adapter combines a branched contact (power source) with an unbranched contact (signal), allowing a single power line to connect multiple sensors, which reduces both wiring and overall costs. Replacing traditional branch circuit boards with this compact adapter decreases equipment size and cost.
The composite branch adapter features a secure spring-lock mechanism for reliable panel mounting, enhancing ease of installation and removal. Additionally, combining standard and composite branch adapters enables multiple branch connections for further wiring efficiency.
Connection to multiple sensors: Only power source wires are branched to save wiring
Crimping Tool Compatibility
The crimping tool used for the DF51 Series is compatible with the DF11 Series. If you already have DF11 Series crimp tools, there's no need to obtain new ones; you can continue using your existing crimp tools.
