All Hirose Electric (HRS) products with description of “Glow Wire” meet the following requirements and are tested by independent agencies.
IEC 60695-2-11：Glowing/hot-wire based test methods - Glow-wire flammability test method for end-products (GWEPT) Temperatures of glow wire: Above 750deg C. or Above 850deg C. GWEPT is in accordance with IEC 60335-1 5th edition “Section 30”.
